Steve McClelland has traveled extensively to assemble an extraordinary selection of images of the natural and man-made world. The range of imagery is very diverse, recording both the beauty of the landscape and the color and variety of urban life throughout the world.
Trained in both architecture and photography, he takes a special interest in recording the diversity of color and architectural styles seen in different cultures throughout the world. He also photographs a wide variety of landscape and abstract subjects.
Mr. McClelland lives in San Diego and continues to work in both the architectural and photography worlds. As a photographer he divides his time between commissioned photography and producing prints of his personal fine art work for exhibition. Named photographer of the year by the San Diego Oceans Foundation, his photographs are displayed in public, corporate and private collections and can be seen in numerous design publications including Architectural Record, Interior Design, and San Diego Magazine.

All of my photographs after 2006 were made with a 35mm digital camera. Prior images were created on film with a variety of large and medium format cameras:
Current digital work:
Canon R5 / Sony A7r
I shoot in raw format and primarily use both Capture One and Adobe Lightroom to process the images. I use Photoshop and Topaz Adjust to refine the images. These digital tools allow tremendous flexibility in bringing an original vision to life.
Older work on film:
Wista 4 x 5 Technical field camera with Schnider 75mm & 300mm lenses and Nikkor 90mm & 120mm lenses.
Mamiya 6 & 7 with 50mm, 65mm & 150 lenses.
